Arkaroola, an ancient land dating back 1800 million years.  Terrain that for two billion years has been folded, metamorphosed and folded again, intruded by granites, uplifted by seismic forces, gullied adn eroded by wind, water adn glaciers.  From teh air the seismic forces reveal commplex maps of mountain, gorge and riverbed that span out toward distant horizons and arid salt pans.  Remembering the ridgetop is nowhere in particular but rather captures the last light of day and memories of Arkaroola, the Mawson Plateau and 'heart stopping', four wheel drive adventures to the top of Siller's Lookout.
