I was putting together an article for Australian Artist, exploring the dimensions of colour. So in order to get a deeper understanding of colour, I asked myself, "What would happen if. Idesigned experiements to deal, as far as possible, with one dimension o fcolour at a time. The idea was to progress through a painting working initially with less colour complexity, then to build the complexity as the painting progressed, one dimension at a time.
